"Why
People Want To
Work With This Realtor"

From
James Patton's 1999 Nomination for the special category "People's
Choice " of the prestigious Aloha Aina Realtor Awards Program sponsored by the First
Hawaiian Bank, the Honolulu
Board of Realtors, and the Hawaii
Newspaper Agency operating for the Honolulu
Star -Bulletin and the Honolulu
Advertiser, on this basis:
"Determined by you, the
public, the Real Estate
Showcase People's Choice Award-winning agent will be a Realtor who
provides exceptional service and follow-up to clients…[and is] known
for fair dealings with clients while maintaining the high ethical
standards of the Honolulu Board of Realtors."

Real Estate
Showcase People's Choice Award Asked the Public The Question This Way:
"Have
You Worked With An Exceptional Realtor?
Nominate
The Realtor Of Your Choice…"
Mrs. Joanne
Klinke's Nomination Letter
For James Read As Follows:
1. Describe the exceptional service this
Realtor provided while assisting you in your real estate transaction.
"From the day that we met James Patton
while looking at Open Houses at Yacht Harbor until the day that we
obtained the keys to our condo, James was at our literal beck and call at
anytime, anyplace.
"Once he had determined our financial
parameters, he was able to narrow down our selection and well within 6
months we were owners. We had submitted a proposal on the apartment,
James then researched recent transactions in the same building, took the
average cost, floor level and was able to accurately provide us with valid
information so that our proposal would be more or less within the
ballpark.
"We had decided to purchase the fee
[interest] at the same time, there was a [last minute critical] problem
with obtaining signatures from two board members. The Manager went
on vacation and forgot to communicate the urgency to the Assistant
Manager. James picked up on this and within a day of signing [the
final papers] he motivated the Assistant Manager to obtain the signatures.
"Whenever I asked James ridiculous
questions due to my lack of knowledge concerning Real Estate, he patiently
explained until I fully understood…no question was too trivial for
him."
2. Examples of
commitment to fair dealings and high ethical standards.
"James continually upholds these standards, he
reveals all concerning the property that the prospective buyer is interested in.
I don't have specific examples, as he is continually ethical in all his
dealings and fair. He provided us with a great deal of guidance.
"My husband and I feel very strongly
that in all our years of dealing with Realtors, James is totally
exceptional, he is relentless.
"The turning point for me was when he
obtained those signatures, but I knew [even before that] that he would
basically get the job done completely."
Signed,
Joanne Klinke
